We’ve issued a First Alert Weather Day for Thursday and Friday afternoon and evening. We’ve got our eye on both dangerous heat and the potential for severe weather. The Storm Prediction Center has placed a good portion of our area under a Slight Risk of severe weather Thursday meaning scattered strong to severe storms are possible.

Several tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings were issued Wednesday afternoon and evening for the Quad Cities area. We had many reports of strong, damaging winds and very heavy rain. Here’s your
