I look forward to planting my large agave Americana ‘mediopicta aurea,’ aka century plant every year. It brings me so much joy! With pointed ends, it can be a bit tricky to plant. But once in the urn, it's the best statement piece and really what started my love for all agave.⁠ ⁠ To provide a bit of interest, I plant a few trailing annuals under all my agave:⁠ ⁠ - Lemon Coral sedum ⁠ - Silver Mist helichrysum⁠ ⁠ These two annuals really accentuate the agave and balance out the colors and size. I
