New South Wales has recorded 478 new cases of COVID-19 community transmission in another record-breaking day for the state’s escalating Delta outbreak. Of the new cases, at least 91 were circulating in the community for all or part of their infectious period. NSW Health was also notified of the death of seven COVID-19 patients.
