One of our favorite trails in the national parks, Pinnacles’ High Peaks Loop Trail, was even better our second time around when we started the hike at Bear Gulch Cave. The cave was closed during our first visit to the park- both the upper and lower cave close mid-May through mid-July for the pupping season, when the bats are raising their young.
